Neighbourhoods

Neighbourhood Management (NM) tackles quality of life issues in communities by working to narrow the gap between the disadvantaged neighbourhoods and the rest of society, and focuses on the following key target areas:

  • Community safety and anti social behaviour
  • Environmental services, street cleaning, parks and gardens
  • Health
  • Housing
  • Education, jobs and training

To achieve this we bring Communities and local agencies together to work to improve services at a neighbourhood level.

Resident Forums are regularly held to allow residents to meet and discuss issues of importance in their neighbourhood.  These meetings are open to all members of the community.

A Partnership Board steers the project and ensures that progress is made and that all organisations deliver what is agreed.

Neighbourhood management has been established in Mablethorpe, Trusthorpe and Sutton on Sea.

We are now working in Chapel St Leonards and Ingoldmells and the consultation reports are available for download.
