The pace of climate change demands individual and local action as well as a national response to tackle CO2 emissions.

What we are doing

• We have agreed to develop plans with partners and local communities to address the causes and impact of climate change
• We recognise that our actions have an impact on the environment and have signed the Nottingham Declaration
• We are working with the Carbon Trust and have a place on the Local Authority Carbon Management Programme
