Cookery courses encourage residents to get healthy in the New Year

FREE cookery courses, funded by the NHS and East Lindsey District Council will begin again this month.

The sessions start on Tuesday January 17 at the Football club, Sherwood fields, Mablethorpe and on Thursday January 19 at the Trinity Centre, Louth. The Louth sessions are organised in conjunction with the Trinity Centre and Homestart.

The course includes basic cookery skills, healthy eating, cooking on a budget as well as using local and seasonal produce.

Tracey Brown, Food for Life Officer explains; “These sessions are open to anyone to attend, they are a fun way to learn quick and easy tips to make healthy changes to your lifestyle. Perfect for anybody who has made healthy eating part of their New Year’s resolutions.”
