‘FREE choice, free of charge and free to come and go’ - that’s the motto for East Lindsey District Council’s new ‘Big Laughs and Fun’ programme that will deliver play activities to East Lindsey’s more isolated communities.
Next month, East Lindsey District Council will be taking its play activities to East Kirkby Village Hall on Tuesday, May 27 between 10am and 1pm; Eastville/Midville/New Leake Village Hall on Wednesday, May 28 between 10am and 1pm; Withern Village Hall on Thursday, May 29, between 10am and 12.30pm; and Maltby Le Marsh Village Hall on Thursday, May 29, between 2pm and 4-30pm.
The play sessions are aimed at those aged between five and 16 and will include a variety of activities, such as sports, arts and crafts, fancy dress, giant snakes and ladders and plate spinning.
To take part in the activities you need to be from the respective Parish. Then simply turn up on the day with a completed consent form, which will be available from schools and in communal locations.
The consent form can also be downloaded from the Council website at www.e-lindsey.gov.uk or by contacting Kate Maher on 08446 601111.
