Big laughs and fun brings play to communities

 

THE latest series of ‘Big Laughs and Fun’ will be launched in April and they're free for young people to join in.

Giant snakes and ladders, fancy dress, plate spinning and arts and crafts are all on the cards when Playmaker, Kate Maher, brings communities alive with her activities.

The sessions, run by East Lindsey District Council, are for five to 16 year olds and based on the concept of ‘free play’ – free entry,free choice and free to come and go.

The sessions take place as follow:

  • April 7 North Thoresby Village Hall 10 am – 1 pm
  • April 8 Welton Le Marsh Village Hall 10 am – 12.30 pm
  • April 8 Bilsby Village Hall 2 pm – 4.30 pm
  • April 9 Old Bolingbroke Village Hall 10 – 12.30 pm
  • April 9 East Kirkby Village Hall 2 pm – 4.30 pm
  • April 10 Great Carlton Village Hall 10 am – 1 pm
  • April 11 North Somercotes Village Hall 10 am – 1 pm
  • April 14 Irby and Bratoft Village Hall 10 am – 1 pm
  • April 15 New York and Wildmore Village Hall 10 am – 12.30 pm
  • April 15 Langrick Village Hall 2 pm – 4.30 pm
  • April 18 Gayton le Marsh Village Hall 10 am – 1 pm

To take part in the activities you need to be from the respective or neighbouring Parish. Then simply turn up on the day with a completed consent form, which will be available from schools and in communal locations. The consent form can also be downloaded from the Council website at www.e-lindsey.gov.uk or by contacting Kate Maher on the number below.
