FROM Wednesday, May 14, 2008, Mablethorpe’s Food For Life Sessions will move to the Football Club on Sherwood Road in the town and everyone is invited.

The sessions cost £1 each to attend and take place between 2pm and 3.30pm on the second, third and fourth Wednesday of each month, with practical cooking demonstrations and advice about how to prepare healthy and tasty food.

East Lindsey District Council’s Food for Life Officer, Martin Walmsley, who runs the sessions said each week he will focus on a different type of food: "I’m not interested in providing complicated dishes, I believe in doing simple dishes very well using good quality, local ingredients," he explained.
