Triton Knoll

In 2003, the Crown Estate put out to tender Round 2 offshore wind farm development sites around the coast of Great Britain.

RWE npower put forward a successful tender and was awarded the development rights to take forward a wind farm of up to 1.200 megawatts at Triton Knoll.

The site is approximately 33k (20.5miles) from the Lincolnshire coast, 46k (28.5 miles) from the Norfolk coast and 48k (30 miles) from the East Riding coastline.

The 150 – 333 turbines (dependant on size) would be up to 220m in height to blade tip.
