Planning is made up of a number of areas.

• Development Control includes dealing with Planning Applications and the Planning Committee.
• Lincs Building Consultancy provide East Lindsey with building control services. They have inspectors who deal with building regulations applications, dangerous structures and street and house naming.
• Conservation includes dealing with listed buildings, conservation areas and buildings covered by an article 4 direction.
• The Planning Enforcement team deal with unlawful development. This includes building work that has been done without the right planning permission.
• The Planning Policy team deal with creating new planning policies. This includes the East Lindsey Local Plan and the Local Development Framework.
• The Housing Strategy Team look at the need for affordable housing and develop new affordable housing schemes.
• The Online Planning Services let you search for the details of a planning application, comment about an application or submit an application online.
