Car Parking
East Lindsey District Council operates a number of pay and display car parks at various locations throughout East Lindsey. Any person using the Council's parking facilities must park in accordance with the current Parking Order (PDF, 470KB).
With effect from the 1st May 2013, the Council have made changes to the hours of operation, pricing and blue badge holder parking. Please consult the Regulations Boards within the car parks for clarification.
The Council operates two types of pay and display car park - Amenity Car Parks and Foreshore Car Parks. The main difference is their location, amenity being situated within a town/village and foreshore being situated by the coast. All car parks are open 24 hours, and chargeable 7 days a week from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm. Please check the Regulations Boards within each car park for the most up to date information on charging periods and the cost of parking.
Blue badge holders parking in a standard pay and display bay - must purchase a pay and display machine ticket.
Blue badge holders parking in a designated disabled bay - must purchase a pay and display machine ticket, however, you will be permitted to park for double the time you have purchased. The additional period of free parking will be extended from the expiry time displayed on your machine ticket. This may only be used on the day of purchase, and not extended to the following day. A valid blue badge and pay and display machine ticket must be clearly displayed at all times.
Penalty Charge Notices (PCN's)
If you contravene the current car parking regulations, the Council will issue a PCN. If you receive a PCN please follow the instruction on the reverse of the notice in order to make your payment. You may pay this on-line or by telephone on 0300 7770123, following the prompts on the 24 hours automated payment system.
If you believe the PCN has been issued incorrectly, you can make a challenge on line, however, please read the Civil Parking Enforcement Guide prior to making your challenge. This document explains how the Council will deal with any challenge you make.
