    There are approximately 28,000 caravans in the District, the highest concentration in Europe. A number of sites are exempt from licensing by the Local Authority however approximately 300 sites are licensed by the Enforcement Section.

      We offer a chargeable kerbside collection service for bulky waste and electrical items. A charge of £25 is made to collect up to four items which must be paid for at the time you make the order. (NB: There is a maximum of four items per week).

      We do not provide a waste collection service to charities or schools. This has to be carried out by a private waste collection company.

      We carry out the administration and functions for a wide range of licences (in addition to taxi, alcohol, entertainment and gambling licensing), which come under the category of 'Other Licences'.

    If a summons has been sent to you, the Magistrates' Court will be asked to grant a Liability Order. You will need to contact us immediately to discuss repayment options.
