The aim of the Council's Economic Development Unit is to work with all sections of the community to develop an aspirational climate for positive change in East Lindsey. We plan to achieve this through the continued support, promotion and development of a sustainable economy - creating a 'new sense of place'.
The units activities include:
- Encouraging and supporting inward investment;
- Co-ordinating and supporting activities which focus on skills development;
- Business start-up advice and established business development support;
- Commercial property and land provision, searches and advice;
- Sourcing of funding and grants;
- Business incubation and support through our business centres in Skegness, Mablethorpe and Louth;
- Procurement;
- Tourism marketing and quality standards programme.
