This service will provide the current valuation band for an individual property. 

The Valuation Office Agency, part of the Inland Revenue, has given each property a valuation band, between A and H, according to its market value in April 1991.

The Band provided will be the current banding, and will not reflect any subsequent increase as a result of a material change, for example an extension to the property.  Under normal circumstances material changes will not be reflected in the banding until either a full revaluation, or a change in ownership.

Where a property consists of part domestic and part commercial, in addition to the Council Tax Band, there may also be a Non-Domestic Rateable Value for the property.
