House, street naming and numbering
Have you moved recently ? Or have you changed the house name ? If you have then you could be having problems with delivery companies, credit, telephone or other services that your are trying to receive.
What can you do to overcome these problems ? What have you tried to do so far ?
If you have just moved into a new house does it have

A street number or
-
A house name
If you have a street number it may not have been made " live " on the postcode database. In this case we will contact the Post coding Centre and arrange for the number to be "released". If you have a house name, was it agreed by the Street Naming and Numbering Officer at the District Council ?
In this case send details of the house name to the Council's Street Naming Officer.

We will then check the name against our database, to make sure no one else has registered the name in the area.

We will then confirm in writing the acceptance of the name.

We will also send you a list of Statutory Bodies who may need to be notified.
If you have changed the name of the house, we will need details of the old name as well.
