Development Control
 

Our Aim

Development Control deals with the processing of planning applications, taking account of district policies and briefs, government guidance and the individual merits of each scheme, in order to control development in the borough in the public interest.

If you you think you may require planning permission please contact the council's Planning Service before you do anything, explain to them what you wish to do and they will be able to advise you on how to proceed.
