A grant of up to £5000 is available to bring properties that have been vacant for more than 12 months and requiring renovation back into the rental market.

The Council will determine what works qualify for the grant, taking into account the assessment procedures contained within the Housing Health and Safety Rating System.

Applying

Applications can be made by the owner of the property and must be supported by the following:

• 2 estimates for the cost of the works,
• Proof of ownership.
