A grant of up to £2000 is available for the first time connection to a new sewerage scheme requisitioned by the Council.

The grant is for the connection of the existing drainage system to the riser pipe supplied by the Sewerage Undertaker (eg Anglian Water) and all associated works.

Applying
Applications must be made within one year of a scheme undertaken by the Sewerage Undertaker.

You are eligible if:
You are owner occupiers or tenants with a repairing obligation to maintain the property.

AND

Receiving one of the following benefits:

• Income Support
• Guaranteed Pension Credit
• Income Based Job Seekers Allowance
• Working Tax Credit
• Council Tax Benefit
• Housing Benefit
