A-Z of Council Services:

Homelessness

If you have nowhere to live or are faced with losing your home please contact us immediately as we may be able to prevent this from happening by helping you to:

  • keep your home or
  • find somewhere else to live

If we have been unable to help you keep your home or find alternative accommodation a homelessness interview will be carried out. This is to help us assess your individual circumstances and establish how we can help you further.

The guide ‘Homelessness – What you need to know’ gives a explanation of the process and the help you can expect from us.

If you become homeless outside of office hours please contact us on the Emergency Helpline 07766776447 (Mon – Thurs 5pm to 9am and Friday 4:45pm throughout the weekend).
