A-Z of Council Services:

Our Contractors

Louth Project

In October 2006, Linpave Building Ltd was awarded the contract for the construction of the new leisure facilities in Louth following a rigorous tender procedure.

The company was one of two companies invited to submit proposals for the leisure centre and sports pavilion, with their designs and costs finally being accepted by the Council’s Executive Board.

Established in 1981, Linpave Building Limited was the building arm of Rand, a group of construction companies based at Rand, near Wragby in Lincolnshire.

However, under the Parent Company Guarantee, the contract was transferred to Linpave's sister company UCS Civils Ltd in late 2008 after Linpave went into administration, unfortunately as a result of the recent downturn in the construction market.

The company operates an Integrated Management System accredited to ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001.

The Rand Group has previously worked with the Council on projects such as the development of the Embassy Theatre in Skegness.

Skegness Project

For this project, the winning tender was awarded in December 2008 to Gelders Group Ltd.

With a local office in Lincoln, they will be responsible for the design and build of the outdoor sports complex in Skegness.

Established in 1988, the past two decades have seen the company grow to 250 employees, and expand to a 2.5 acre site at Dunholme.

The company specialise in Design and Build contracts and have a proven track record of delivering high quality leisure complexes across the UK.

Both contractors are part of the national Considerate Constructors Scheme.
