Academy proposal on Area Committee agenda

A meeting of East Lindsey District Council’s Louth Area Committee will take place on February 28, 2011 at 7.30pm in the Council Chamber at Louth Town Hall.
As well as a Public Forum where members of the community can ask the committee questions, there will also be updates on the Driving Standards Agency’s decision to leave Louth, the Nipper Bus Service, Tritton Knoll Wind Farm. Louth Cattle market and the appointment of a Town Centre Manager for Louth.
The Agenda also includes a briefing on flood alleviation and river maintenance from the Environment Agency and further details on the proposed Schools’ Academy from Dr. Rolph, from Monks’ Dyke Technology College, Canon Holdaway, Chair of Governors at Cordeaux School and a representative from Lincolnshire County Council.
The meeting will close with an update on cultural events in East Lindsey during 2011.
