A PLANNING Inquiry will take place on November 30, 2010, into a planning application by N Power Renewable for a wind farm at land at Broadgate, Sea Road, Anderby near Skegness.
In addition to six wind turbines, N Power Renewables has also requested permission for an anemometry mast, a substation and a temporary site compound with fence.
The Inquiry was requested by N Power Renewables after East Lindsey District Council didn’t make a decision on the application within the Government’s set timescale of 13 weeks for considering major applications. However, the Council has taken the position that it will oppose the application at the Inquiry.
The Inquiry, which is scheduled to take place between November 30 and December 7 at 10am each day, will be held at Hogsthorpe Village Hall on Thames Street.
Members of the public are invited to attend the Inquiry and may, at the discretion of the Inspector, express their views.
Anyone wishing to view the application in advance of the Inquiry, should visit the Online Planning Applications Search on the District Council’s website, www.e-lindsey.gov.uk, and use reference number 2812/06 or contact East Lindsey District Council on 01507 601111 to arrange an appointment to see a hard copy of the planning information.
