Britain’s Got Talent duo to light up Mablethorpe

BRITAIN’S Got Talent Street Dance duo, Twist and Pulse will flick the switch to light up Mablethorpe at the town’s annual illuminations switch-on event on Saturday, July 30, 2011.
The duo will entertain crowds on the High Street pullover from 9pm, after making their way through the resort as part of the procession, which starts on Stanley Avenue.
The action packed evening of entertainment, including music and fireworks, will begin at 6pm but there will be activities throughout the day for everyone to enjoy.
Town Centre Manager, Karen Froggatt, said: “I am really pleased Twist and Pulse the Britain’s Got Talent Finalists are going to be in Mablethorpe. The illuminations event is important for the town and attracts many visitors and we hope to see lots of smiling faces on the evening.”
This 2011 Illuminations Switch-on has been organised by Mablethorpe Town Council, Mablethorpe Tourism Forum, Mablethorpe Area Partnership and East Lindsey District Council.
