Celebrate the Arts in Sutton on Sea

The Celebration, which includes local artists showing paintings and other works, has been organised by the East Lindsey Arts Forum and is free to attend. There will also be drumming workshops and painting demonstrations.

Chairman of East Lindsey Arts Forum, Helen Matthews, said: "The event will be an amazing opportunity to celebrate East Lindsey's exciting, varied and diverse arts offer in one location. We will showcase the area’s artistic talent with a view to raising the aspirations of those interested in working in the arts."

The Arts Forum is grant funded by the Coastal Action Zone and the Rural Development Programme for England with support from East Lindsey District Council.

As well as organising events, the Forum produces the QuARTerly magazine, which promotes arts and cultural activities, including comedy, dance, street theatre, visual art and poetry. The Magazine is distributed to 2000 homes four times a year with an additional 6000 copies made available at local libraries, Tourist Information Centre and arts venues.
