Deep clean for Mablethorpe Boating Lake

Queen's Park Boating Lake in Mablethorpe will get a deep clean over the next few weeks.
The cleansing programme, which involves draining the water, removing the sediment and any rubbish and a detailed inspection of the lake’s lining, takes place on a five year cycle.
Fish currently in the boating lake will be removed and given a health inspection.
The work is expected to take up to six weeks starting on Wednesday, December 1, 2010.
