WITH local elections and a referendum taking place on May 5 , 2011, East Lindsey District Council is keen to make sure electors know which Polling Station they need to visit to cast their votes.

Polling Cards have now been sent to all registered electors and they will be delivered shortly by Royal Mail. Some people may have them already.

Elections Officer, Sue Brewitt, said: “Five Polling Stations have moved for the forthcoming elections and it’s really important electors check their Polling Cards or our website carefully so they know where they need to be on May 5. Don’t worry if your Polling Card doesn’t arrive as long as you ensure your name is on the Electoral Role you will be able to vote.”
