AN interactive map of Polling Stations for the elections and referendum on Thursday, May 5, 2011, has been published on East Lindsey District Council’s website.

With Polling Cards that identify the Polling Stations in each area now delivered to all homes, the Council is encouraging electors who are unsure where they need to go to vote to check online at www.e-lindsey.gov.uk, where they can access directions.

Elections Officer, Sue Brewitt, said: “We want to make voting as easy as possible for electors and this is another important part of our efforts to do just that.”

Local electors are also being reminded of some important pre-election deadlines.

Applications to be on the Electoral Register or to receive a Postal Vote must be received by the Returning Officer by 5pm on Thursday, April 14, 2011.

Proxy Votes can be applied for until 5pm on Thursday, April 21, 2011.

If anyone has any queries in relation to the Election they can contact the District Council on 01507 601111 or visit the website.
