Time confirmed for Royal opening at the Meridian Leisure Centre

Local people and users of the state-of-the-art Meridian Leisure Centre in Louth will welcome HRH Princess Anne on the July 21, 2010 at 3.10pm it has been confirmed.
On a tour of the Leisure Centre, Her Royal Highness will meet representatives from local sports clubs and regular users before unveiling a plaque to declare the Meridian Leisure Centre officially open.
On the day of the visit, the Leisure Centre will close at 10am to allow for the Royal security inspection to take place. The Centre will re-open again to users at 5.30pm.
The Meridian Leisure Centre boasts some of the best leisure facilities in the East Midlands, including an 80 station fitness suite, with the latest FitLinxx technology to help improve the user’s workout; an eight lane, 25m swimming pool, with floating floor, sauna and steam rooms; dance studios, multi purpose rooms, IT suite, crèche and day nursery, cafe and large sports hall.
