Visitors flock to Lincolnshire Coast

Leader of East Lindsey District Council, Councillor Doreen Stephenson, said the coast has seen one of the busiest Easter weekends for many years: "The feedback we're receiving from businesses is very positive, which is excellent news and shows that our award winning resorts remain some of the most popular places to visit in the country.

“We must continue to seize new opportunities like we have with the AMCA Motorcycle Racing and the Festival of Bathing Beauties, allowing the season to be extended to support businesses and create more sustainable jobs in the community outside the main season.

”We have another long weekend to look forward to, which we hope is just as busy; and many major events coming up that will further promote our coast as the place to visit for a great time."
