Action packed agenda for Horncastle Area Committee

A MEETING of East Lindsey District Council’s Horncastle Area Committee will take place on July 5, 2010 at 7pm at Horncastle College on Mareham Road.
The action packed Agenda will open with a 15 minute Public Forum where members of the public can ask the Committee questions.
Councillors will receive an update on Horncastle Town Hall from Councillor Bill Aron, in his capacity as a member of the Stanhope Hall Group.
There will be an update on SO Festival 2010 that will benefit the whole District between July 22 and July 25 when thousands of people flock to the area to see world class performances in Skegness.
Green Waste collections over the winter months will also be discussed when the Council’s Business Manager for Street Scene, Roy Ormsby, provides the committee with a briefing note.
Outdoor activities for Over 45’s will be on the Agenda and opportunities to develop more activities for people in this age range.
The Vice-Chairman of the Area Committee, Councillor Craig Leyland, will update the Committee on Jubilee Park.
The Committee will also receive a joint presentation from the District Council’s Carers’ Champion, Councillor Phil Leivers and Sharon Jack from the Council’s Community Development Team about what it means to be a Carers’ Champion and the benefits it can bring to people in the community.
