Bus times confirmed for Free Sunday Mablethorpe to Meridian Leisure Centre Service

Bus times have been confirmed by Stagecoach East Midlands for the special free service they will run on Sunday, February 7, 2010, for people living in Mablethorpe who wish to visit the Meridian Leisure Centre on its opening weekend.
Buses will leave Mablethorpe Bus Station at 09.05, 11.05, 13.05 and 15.05 and return from the Meridian Leisure Centre at 09.50, 11.50, 13.50 and 15.50.
In addition to the free service, the District Council and Stagecoach East Midlands have joined forced to offer people living in Mablethorpe and the surrounding villages discounted bus journeys to the Meridian Leisure until March 6, 2010.
Anyone boarding the Interconnect 9 Bus at Mablethorpe and travelling to Louth including, Maltby Le Marsh, Strubby, Withern, South and North Reston or Legbourne will be able to get their fare partially refunded, when they book in at the reception in the Meridian Leisure Centre. InterConnect 9 runs hourly and stops right outside the new Leisure Centre on Wood Lane.
The District Council has also put together a special membership package for people in Mablethorpe wishing to use the Meridian Leisure Centre. For £32.50 per month, they can access both Station Sports Centre and the Meridian Leisure Centre. This includes all classes, such as Spinning; Aquacise and Aerobics.
Anyone signing up for a membership for the Meridian Leisure Centre before February 6, 2010, the opening day, will receive 15 months membership for the price of 12.
Prior to the opening, residents wishing the use the new Fitness Suite, which incorporates the very latest Fitness Suite technology, are being encouraged to sign up for their induction. Without this they won’t be able to use the Fitness Suite.

The Meridian Leisure Centre includes a 25m eight lane pool with moveable floor; fitness suite with sauna and steam room; child care facility with outdoor and indoor play areas; a leisure pool with flume and other features; a sports hall and multi-purpose room; dance studios; an IT suite and exhibition space; a café and social area; plus outdoor changing rooms and car park and cycle bays.
