Community Groups reminded to get their funding bids in for August 26 deadline

Community groups in East Lindsey are being reminded that they only have a few weeks left to submit their Community Grant applications to East Lindsey District Council.
The deadline for the 2nd round of grant applications is August 26, 2010 and approximately £65,000 is still available in support of community projects.
In 2010/11 the District Council has put £134,000 aside for Community Grants and in previous funding rounds the Council has already supported 16 projects with a total of £69,000.
Through the Community Grant Scheme the Council can provide funding of between £250 and £8,000.
Community Groups considering an application are encouraged to contact the District Council’s Community Grants Team on 01507 601111 to discuss their project and for an application pack.
