Two awareness raising days have being organised by the East Lindsey Community Safety Partnership to allow local people to find out more about work underway to prevent crime in the area.

There will be an opportunity to meet representatives from Trading Standards, Lincolnshire Police, Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue, Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership, Crime Stoppers, Crime Prevention Partnership and the Neighbourhood Policing Team who will be on hand to offer advice and answer questions.

Portfolio Holder for Community Safety at East Lindsey District Council, Councillor Sandra Harrison, said: "These events are a good opportunity for local people to better understand what is been done to make our area an even safer place to live and visit. This Partnership event will showcase the work of a range of organisations and give people the chance to pick up safety advice from knowledgeable people. It will also give communities a chance to influence future community safety priorities for our area."
The events take place as follows:

  • Embassy Theatre in Skegness on Thursday, February 11, 2010 between 2pm and 6pm
  • Louth Town Hall on Friday, February 12, 2010 between 11am and 3pm
