Free sports taster sessions in Skegness

This page is part of the news archive and for reference only

A series of sports taster sessions have been organised in Skegness to encourage more people to take part in sport and have fun together.

Organised by Skegness Sports Forum, which is supported by East Lindsey District Council, the sessions will take place at a variety of venues throughout the town and best of all they’re free of charge and led by a qualified coach.

Chairman of the Forum, Mr Nigel Roylance, explained: “We are trying to introduce people to new sports activities and by providing a range of activities we hope there will be something that everyone can enjoy. Sport is great for improving health and also social wellbeing and the Forum is working hard to give the people of Skegness some important opportunities to take part in these types of activities.“
