People living in East Lindsey are been encouraged to put their walking boots on to take part in a programme of walks organised to help the community to improve its health and fitness.
East Lindsey Active is a project working in partnership with East Lindsey District Council, Natural England, Sustrans, Lincolnshire Sports Partnership and the Lincolnshire Primary Care Trust. All the walks are led by a Walk Leader. Best of all they're free of charge!
'Not only can you get fit but you can also make new friends', said Bernice Wilson, who runs the programme in partnership with Alex Woollen from Sustrans. 'We all know East Lindsey is a beautiful District and there is no better way to explore it than on foot. '
