London Mozart Players’ Summer Serenade!

The London Mozart Players will be visiting East Lindsey later this month to provide evenings of string serenades and an oboe concerto, featuring Principal Oboe Gareth Hulse.
Three venues have been included in the latest LMP Tour of East Lindsey, with a programme incorporating some of the very best classical music from Tchaikovsky, Borodin, Vaughan Williams and Grieg.
The LMP will visit the following venues:

The strings are joined by Gareth Hulse, Principal Oboe of the LMP, for an oboe concerto, and the rest of the evening is filled with some favourite pieces for string orchestra.
Opening with Grieg’s Holberg Suite, Gareth then takes to the stage for the Vaughan Williams Oboe Concerto, a sumptuous work that really shows the range and expression of the oboe. The second half features Borodin’s famous Nocturne, from his second string quartet, before the evening concludes with the wonderful String Serenade by Tchaikovsky.
