A consultation exercise is underway with businesses in East Lindsey to help the District Council better understand their needs and aspirations now and for the future.

The survey, which was last undertaken in 2007, has been posted directly to 2000 businesses and others are being encouraged to visit the Council's website, www.e-lindsey.gov.uk, to complete the online form.

The Council's Chief Executive, Nigel Howells, explained: "The District Council is committed to working with our local businesses to increase prosperity and raise the skills and aspirations of local residents. We've already done lots of good work on this but need to continually update the information so we can fully understand the needs, concerns and aspirations of the local business community."

The consultation closes on May 7, 2010, when a report will be produced and made available to download on the Council's website.

Nigel, continued: "The response to this survey will be used to help us shape future service delivery and project work so we can ensure that the services we provide are developed in partnership and responsive to local businesses needs."
