With kick off for the 2010 World Cup just days away, the Embassy Swimming Pool and Lifestyle Fitness in Skegness has launched a special offer, upon an already existing offer, to encourage people to take regular exercise.

Those who sign up to the Fitness Suite during the period that England remain in the World Cup will get their first month’s membership for just £10, which will then increase to £20 a month from month two for the remainder of the £20 a month offer. The cost will then become the normal price of a membership for use of the state-of-the-art Fitness Suite and Swimming Pool at £28.50 per month.

Fitness Suite users will also be able to take part in a special Fitness Suite challenge during the World Cup too.

"The challenge will see members of the Fitness suite attempting to cover 5,587 miles from London to Pretoria, South Africa, by logging the distance they travel on the treadmills, x-trainers and bikes," explains organiser, Ben Drysdale.

The challenge will take place in support of McMillan Cancer Support and those taking part will each be asked to pay £2. The winner, who will receive a selection of prizes from organisations in Skegness, will be the person who the Fitness Advisors consider works the hardest during the challenge.
