French flavour to Easter markets
Markets in East Lindsey over the Easter holiday period will have an exciting French flavour to them. East Lindsey District Council has teamed up with specialist Savoir Fayre.
Shoppers to the French Markets will be able to purchase a range of delicious French produce including cheese, bread, cured meats and salami. There will also be stalls selling soaps, perfumes and clothes.
The markets take place as follows from 9.30am to 5.30pm:
- April 2 (Good Friday) – Horncastle Market Place.
- April 3 (Saturday) – Alford Market Place
- April 4 (Easter Sunday) – Louth Market Place
- April 5 (Bank Holiday Monday) – Louth Market Place
The District Council’s Portfolio Holder for Rural Services, Councillor Edward Mossop, said he hopes the markets will be well supported: “We have been working hard to see how our markets can be improved and we know that specialist markets are something that local people have told us they enjoy. By providing something different we want our markets to be fresh and vibrant places that encourage more people to visit our towns to support the local businesses.”
