Get real at a Nappucino and save up to £300!
THE Real Nappy Campaign continues in East Lindsey with a special Nappucino event taking place in Horncastle on Tuesday, May 18, 2010.
A Nappucino is a relaxed introduction to reusable nappies and a great way to meet like minded parents who not only want to save money but also the environment.
Real Nappies can save parents up to £300 in the first two and a half years of their life. In addition there is a huge environmental saving. At the moment people in the UK send around 2.8billion nappies to landfill each year, taking 500 years to decompose.
Transition Town Horncastle has organised the Nappucino, with support from East Lindsey District Council and Screaming Green. The event comes hot on the heels of the Real Nappy Roadshow that has just taken place on markets across East Lindsey.
Nappucino Organiser, Jenny Davey, said: “Over coffee and cake we will give you an introduction to real nappies and demonstrate a range of products. We will show you how to use the nappies and existing real nappy users will share their own tips and experiences. We welcome anyone with an interest in reusable nappies past, present and most importantly in the future!”
The Nappucino will take place between 10.30am and 12noon at Wellies Nursery, 2 Langton Hill, Horncastle, LN9 5AH.
