Pre-meeting for Enertrag wind turbine proposal
A Pre-Inquiry meeting will take place on July 30, 2010 at East Lindsey District Council’s Manby offices at 10am in connection with an appeal by Enertrag who applied for planning permission for Wind Turbines near Baumber.
The meeting will be used to establish a timetable of witnesses to be called to give evidence at the Public Inquiry hearing, which takes place on October 5, 2010 at Minting Village Hall for three weeks (four sitting days per week), Tuesday to Friday inclusive.
East Lindsey District Council didn’t make a decision on Enertrag’s application, which was for eight wind turbines with a maximum blade tip height of 125 metres, a hub height of 80 metres and a blade diameter of 90 metres, erection of a switch house, provision of a temporary storage compound, construction of new access tracks, crane hard standings and three vehicular accesses and the provision of underground cabling.
An independent Planning Inspector appointed by the Government will oversee the appeal later in the year and the community will be able to attend.
