Sites of Special Scientific Interest

We maintain two areas that have been designated as Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) within the district, one at Theddlethorpe and one at Seacroft, Skegness.

We have a duty to protect and enhance areas that have been designated as SSSI by Natural England. These areas have open access for you to enjoy, although we ask that you try not to disturb the wildlife and wild plants for which they have been designated. Please remember to pick up any dog fouling and take litter home with you.

Seacroft SSSI

We have a draft pdf icon Management Plan [4Mb] in place for this area.
