East Lindsey is the third largest shire district in the country and with over 200 settlements dispersed over such a large area, the provision of public transport is always going to be a problem. East Lindsey District Council has a commitment to work with Lincolnshire County Council and other agencies to improve access to transport services.

In recent years Community Transport services have increased dramatically and have enabled access to those whom public transport cannot reach.
