The Council holds markets across the District throughout the year, ranging from the traditional general market held each week, to specialist farmers' and European markets.
Our traditional weekly markets offer a wide variety of goods, regularly supported by our farmers' markets, which offer a mouthwatering selection of local produce and opportunities to taste.
European markets offer customer the opportunity to sample foods and crafts from further afield, including French cheeses and beer, Belgian chocolates and Polish bread to name but a few.
We run markets in our market towns as follows:
- Spilsby – Monday
- Louth – Wednesday, Friday and Saturday
- Mablethorpe – Monday (summer only), Thursday
- Horncastle – Thursday, Saturday
Our markets are controlled by a formal set of market regulations. These are in place for the safety of customers and traders.
Stall hire costs from as little as £11.30 per day.
