Support for rough sleepers during heatwave

The heat can be particularly dangerous for people who are sleeping rough. As a result we have activated the severe weather emergency protocol.

Our teams and partners will be out and about providing water, sun cream and encouraging individuals who are sleeping rough to access day time provision where they can get out of the heat into the shade and stay safe from the sun. Please let us or P3 Charity know if you are concerned about someone who may be rough sleeping.

When you're out and about, if you see somebody who is sleeping rough and you are concerned, here are some places that will be open and available to them during the heat:
