Councillors Community Grants

East Lindsey District Councillors have been able to help members of the community by awarding some much needed Community Grants recently.

Grimoldby Councillor Terence Knowles has awarded £500 to Grimoldby and Manby Parish Council to assist with membership fees for the Plunkett Foundation and administration costs for the production of a business plan regarding the Lancaster Inn.

Withern and Theddlethorpe Councillor Sandra Harrison has awarded £450 to Beesby Parish Church to assist with the purchasing of two plastic benches.

Sutton On Sea Councillor Adrian Benjamin has awarded £500 to the Boatshed Charity to assist with purchasing some artificial grass and fencing for an instant picnic area.

Grimoldby Councillor Terrence Knowles has awarded £500 to St. Mary's Church Manby to purchase and install CCTV.

Withern and Theddlethorpe Councillor Sandra Harrison has awarded £450 to Beesby Parish Church to help purchase a picnic table and seating.

Louth Councillor Jill Makinson-Sanders has awarded £100 to Louth Group of WI's Choir 'Rallentando' to help fund their Charity Christmas concert.

Tetford and Donington Councillor David Andrews has awarded £100 to Tetford Travel Group to assist with costs for public liability insurance and stationary.

AlfordCouncillors Graham Marsh and Sarah Devereux have awarded £200 to Alford Corn Exchange Community Group for Community Christmas Lunch for residents living alone.

Skegness Councillors Richard Cunnington and Billy Brookes have awarded £340.60 to Skegness Day Centre to help with the purchasing of Kurling equipment for clients who attend the day centre.

Spilsby Councillor David Mangion has awarded £250 to Spilsby Methodist Church Council to assist with costs for their Community Christmas Tree Festival.

Spilsby Councillor David Mangion has awarded £300 to the 2nd Spilsby Scout Group to help with costs for kayak paddles and buoyancy aids.

Alford Councillors Graham Marsh and Sarah Devereux have awarded £200 to Alford Town Promotions to go towards their Christmas Spectacular to hire a Santa sleigh and vehicle for the light switch on parade.

Tetford and Donington Councillor David Andrews has awarded £300 to Donington-On-Bain Parish Council to assist with costs for repairs of St Andrews' church yard wall.

Binbrook Councillor Richard Fry has awarded £200 to South Willingham Parish Council to help pay for village care equipment, including a trolley sprayer, a water tank and personal protection equipment.

Marshchapel and Somercotes Councillors Daniel McNally and Paul Rickett have awarded £529.60 to North Somercotes Primary School PTA to assist with the refurbishment of the swimming changing area

Sibsey and Stickney Councillor Tom Ashton has awarded £100 to the PCC of Sibsey with Carrington to help with costs for the removal of a sycamore tree in the church yard.

Councillor's Richard Cunnington, Richard Avison, Fiona Martin, Sandra Campbell-Wardman, David Mangion, Billy Brookes, Tony Howard, Graham Cullen, Claire Newman, Trevor Burnham, Jimmy Brookes, Carleen Dickinson, Mark Dannatt and Danny Brookes have awarded £996 to Lincoln & Lindsey Blind Society to help purchase low vision assessment kits.

Sibsey and Stickney Councillor Neil Jones has awarded £250 to Langrick Matters to assist with purchasing a heated defibrillator.

Woodhall Spa Councillor Craig Leyland has awarded £1,000 to Woodhall Spa Tennis Club to help fund the purchase of new tennis court flood lights.

Halton Holegate Councillor Jim Swanson has awarded £150 to Toynton All Saints Parish Council to help purchase a speed gun for community use.

Tetney Councillor Steve McMillan has awarded £500 to Saint John's Methodist Church, Tetney to assist with replacing the church guttering and fascia boards.

Mablethorpe Councillors Claire Newman, Tony Howard and Graham Cullen have awarded £450 to Mablethorpe in Bloom to help purchase gardening supplies.

Coningsby and Mareham Councillors Stan Avison, Alex Hall and Martin Foster have awarded £465 to Tumby Parish Council to assist with purchasing a new notice board.

Louth Councillor Chris Green has awarded £500 to Louth Playgoers Society to assist with costs of replacing the boiler.
