Over £8m distributed to East Lindsey businesses so far, with more to come

April 8, 2020

Over £8m of Government funding has so far been paid to businesses in East Lindsey, with millions more to be distributed over the coming days.

We are administering the Small Business Grant Fund and the Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Grant Fund, which the Government has made available to support businesses during the Coronavirus pandemic.

We want to assure those businesses awaiting a grant that hundreds of payments are being made daily and money will be with those who have completed the online form within the next seven days - please do keep checking your bank account.

We're also asking those businesses who have not yet completed the online form to do so as soon as possible; we are unable to process payments to businesses who have not completed a form. The online form is available at www.e-lindsey.gov.uk/CVBusinessGrants, or a paper copy can be requested by calling 01507 601111.

Councillor Adam Grist, Portfolio Holder for Market Towns and Rural Economy, said: "We realise that this is an incredibly difficult time for anyone who runs a business. We have a fantastic team working every day to process payments and we've brought in additional resource to help them get this money to you. We do also need eligible businesses to ensure that they have completed the online form - if you're eligible and haven't yet completed a form, please head to our website or give our team a call to request a paper copy."
