All of the caravans in the area of Oak are now accessible to occupants and the electric has been turned back on.

14th June 2019

The caravans on Oak 1001 up to and including 1050 are now safe to be occupied. However the caravans on Oak 1051 up to an including 1113 are still inaccessible and MUST NOT be occupied until Monday 17th June at the earliest. We will update further in due time.

Due to the high water levels, as a consequence of the heavy rain, please be advised that the drainage from your caravan sink and toilet might not be performing at full potential.

Other than the aforementioned Kingfisher Park is open as normal.

12th June 2019Due to the recent continual heavy rainfall the Oak area at Kingfisher Caravan Park is badly flooded because the main drain is running at full capacity and there is nowhere for the water to go.  Occupants in the whole of Oak have been advised to evacuate with immediate effect.  Residents MUST NOT ENTER the caravan because of the RISK OF FLOODING/ELECTROCUTION.

Action is being taken to explore the feasibility of the water being tankered away by environmental contractors.  However, the response is slow as we are not the only area affected by the floods.

We take this opportunity to remind Park Users that the wheelie bins of Kingfisher Park must be correctly used to dispose of the general wastes and recycling wastes in the specific bins. Please DO NOT contaminate the recycling bins with general wastes. 

You are also strongly advised not to deposit concrete, rubble or soil into any of the wheelie bins. The waste contractors are unable to lift the wheelie bins to dispose of these contents in the normal way. The Council is entitled to pass any charges paid to third parties which are not within its control. Your co-operation would be much appreciated in ensuring that the bins are correctly used, so that no additional charges are levied as a consequence of the misuse of the waste disposal services. 
Newsletters will be circulated three times a year in April, July and October.

A feedback/suggestion box is to be provided in the reception area of the site office, where caravan owners and holiday makers have the opportunity to leave feedback about Kingfisher Park. The feedback will be regularly reviewed and where possible will be actioned to improve the customer experience.
