Expo celebrates business in East Lindsey

November 7, 2018

The second East Lindsey Business Expo took place on Wednesday, November 7 with over 30 local businesses exhibiting at the event in Horncastle.

The event, organised by East Lindsey District Council, also provided the businesses with the chance to network and attend a number of workshops, covering a range of topics from marketing to recruitment.

Students from Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School, Alford and Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School, Horncastle also attended the event, giving them the opportunity to engage with the businesses and attend specialist workshops focussed on starting a business and online marketing.

Members of the public were also welcome to drop in and meet some of the companies that make up East Lindsey's varied business community.

Economic Development Officer and event organiser, Samantha Phillips, said: "It was great to see so many organisations and businesses attend the Expo, and I'd like to thank all those who came along - especially those businesses who delivered workshops. I think the Expo provided a great opportunity for all our attendees to network and feedback has been very positive."
