Coronavirus and Council Tax
Your Council Tax pays for essential services that are delivered to the residents of the district and county.
During the Coronavirus pandemic, it is important that if your circumstances have not changed that you continue to pay as detailed on your bill. To comply with social distancing you may wish to consider setting up a Direct Debit to pay your charge.
Council Tax Hardship Fund
In line with government guidance we will award working age recipients of local Council Tax Support (CTS) during 2020/21, a further reduction of up to £150. This will be applied automatically, you do not need to contact us to claim this reduction. A revised bill will be issued to qualifying residents once the reduction has been applied.
