Our Corporate Strategy sets out the commitment we have made to residents of the District. The Strategy is based on a detailed analysis of the District's needs and will make a real and positive difference to the lives of everyone.
In August 2021, the South & East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership - a ground-breaking partnership between ourselves, Boston Borough Council and South Holland District Council - was agreed by all three member Councils. A Memorandum of Agreement between all three councils was signed at the end of September, with the Partnership officially coming into being from October 1, 2021.
The Council has Councillors representing political parties and independent Councillors.
Our vision to create a prosperous and vibrant District cannot be achieved without action to eliminate discrimination, harassment and victimisation, and the advance of equal opportunities for all.
Overview and Scrutiny is a process that independently challenges the Council, Executive Board and other public bodies to hold them to account.
We have an Asset Management Framework which is intended to last until 2026.
The Localism Act 2011 includes a provision on the Community Right to Challenge. This gives organisations and groups the right to put forward an expression of interest in running a service.
