Seaview Colonnade - Sutton on Sea
Opening in late July 2025 the Seaview Colonnade in Sutton on Sea is a new state-of-the-art pavilion space in the heart of the village, providing a hub to support activities, events and tourism for residents and visitors.

The construction of the Colonnade was a project supported by £4.2million from the Mablethorpe Towns Fund, alongside further funding from East Lindsey District Council. The wider development has allowed for the refurbishment of the Maple Leaf paddling pool, and neighbouring play area and tennis courts, as well as the installation of new beach huts along the Promenade.
The Colonnade, which is fully accessible and will include facilities such as a Changing Places toilet, will be open 9am - 5pm every day and is on York Road, Sutton on Sea, LN12 2EU. The closest parking is located at the Broadway Car Park directly opposite the building.
Arts and Culture Workshops
Over the 2025 summer holidays the Seaview Colonnade will host a packed schedule of different activities, workshops and classes for all ages and interests to enjoy.
Running from Tuesday 29 July until Friday 5 September, sessions will take place five days a week between Tuesdays and Saturdays.
The activities, which include a combination of walk-ins, new sessions from existing local groups and special workshops, cover a variety of interests and disciplines, including yoga, dance, theatre, puppetry, DJing and crafts.
Children's crafting sessions will include the opportunity to create a range of keepsakes, including jellyfish, suncatchers, bug hotels and kites, whilst Rhubarb Theatre will be bringing the family-fun with interactive workshops covering popular children's books including Dear Zoo, A Squash and a Squeeze and the works of Roald Dahl.
Mothership will be running DJ workshops and local community music organisation SoundLincs will hold drop-in sessions. Brampot Theatre will host several groups including Flash Fiction, Shadow Puppetry and To the Moon and Back, and Kazbah Theatre will be offer puppet-making and introduction to puppetry.
Shenanigans will also be running Academiacs, a family game show for all ages to enjoy, with popular local groups joining the Seaview Colonnade including SO..Yoga, who will be running a variety of classes including seated yoga, gentle yoga, yogalates and sessions specially designed for toddlers and young people. Dance Free will also be holding wellbeing journalling sessions on Saturday 16 August.
Many of the workshops are ticketed, but free to attend to help manage capacity and avoid over-subscription. Seven Districts Pop-Up Cafe
Seven Districts Coffee, a renowned Lincolnshire-based specialty coffee roaster and coffee shop brand, will be bringing a pop-up café to the Seaview Colonnade, initially over the summer and early autumn.
Opening in late July on the first floor of the new building, they are known for their exceptional coffee, quality food, and creating welcoming spaces for the community. Since opening their first coffee shop in 2019, they have built a loyal following and established themselves as part of the region's growing food and drink scene, including venues in Welton, Nettleham and Lincoln.
Residents and visitors will be able to expect speciality coffee alongside a handpicked menu of fresh paninis, bagels, pastries, and home-baked cakes and tray bakes, appropriate for everything from a beachside brew through to something sweet to take away.

Farmer Browns Ice Cream
Situated on the ground floor near the paddling pool, Farmer Browns Ice Cream have a kiosk within the Seaview Colonnade offering ice creams, hot and cold drinks and other snacks for users to enjoy.

Maple Leaf paddling pool
The historic maple leaf paddling pool next to the Colonnade has seen significant investment by the council to be fully refurbished and repaired as part of work, including redecoration, replacement of equipment and the addition of new safety and play features.
In 2025, the pool will remain open through to the end of September. The opening times are 10am to 6pm each day during the summer and you do not need to book to access it. At times during this period the pool may be temporarily unavailable due to water quality testing and sampling, keep an eye on the East Lindsey District Council Facebook page for any updates.
Play Area
A brand-new play area has also been installed on the other side of the Colonnade to the paddling pool, providing a great variety of equipment for children of all ages and accessibility needs, including slides, swings, balance trails, climbing equipment, activity panels and a roundabout.
Tennis Courts and Beach Huts
